I don't know why I was so surprised, but after helping to wheel Debbie down surgery to get her porta. cath. put in they asked me to wait in the surgical waiting room. It was the same large area I waited while they removed the tumor last November. I really was not ready to sit there again and to be in such a large room full of people. I am sitting here now, with tears in my eyes after reading the responses to previous blogs. I feel all of your love continuing to support us.
Debbie was not even brought down here until 2:30, they are telling me it will be 1 to 1.5 hours during surgery, I'm not sure I believe that, but maybe...
Just before coming down a wonderful hospital volunteer stopped by the room. She gave Deb a hand massage and was getting ready to get her feet, in fact had just started when they came to wheel her down. This unit is so wonderful to have volunteers like that!
At this time Deb has asked that the flowers go on hold. We are not sure which one she is allergic too but apparently she is having itchy eyes. Rick, the chocolate bouquet is beautiful, and I am sure it will be tasty when she gets out of surgery!
Rick your prayers and balm were so wonderful and welcome, thank you!

Drew & Goose, I just got done emailing Tommy with the news. He's currently in Ireland, and he's going to work on getting that neck of the globe laying a prayer blanket for you.
Carl and Janice
As we sit and watch our grass in Maine turn green and our daffodils slowly open, we realize that it is the miracle of renewal. We pray that a few of God's miracles will come your way. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
